About

An edited book titled The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Management: Transforming Decision-Making, Innovation, and Strategy is currently under consideration by Routledge (Taylor & Francis Group), and has been acknowledged as a project “of interest.” The final publication is contingent upon successful external peer review. This volume seeks to bring together original and insightful contributions from scholars and practitioners on the evolving role of AI across various domains of management.


Eligibility

Prospective authors from academic, research, or industry backgrounds with an interest or expertise in artificial intelligence and its management applications are encouraged to apply. Interdisciplinary approaches and case-based insights are especially welcome. Submissions must reflect original research or practical perspectives that offer scholarly or actionable value.


Roles and Responsibilities

Contributors are expected to submit an abstract of 250–300 words outlining the following:

  • The key objectives of the proposed chapter

  • Theoretical and/or empirical foundations

  • Methodology adopted (qualitative, quantitative, or conceptual)

  • Expected insights or findings

  • Alignment with one or more core themes of the book:

    • AI in decision-making

    • Strategic planning

    • Marketing, HRM, operations, finance

    • Ethics and policy frameworks

    • Sector-specific applications of AI

Abstracts must clearly define the research problem or managerial issue being explored and emphasize originality, relevance, and interdisciplinary or innovative approaches.

Interested contributors must email their abstract in a Word document format to: chapter.routledge@gmail.com
Email Subject Line: Abstract Submission – [Proposed Chapter Title]

Each abstract submission must include:

  • Proposed chapter title

  • Author(s) name(s) and institutional affiliation(s)

  • Email address(es)

  • A biographical sketch (80–100 words) for each contributor, including academic qualifications, current institutional affiliation, recent publications (if any), and ORCID ID (if available)


Deadline for Abstract Submission: 10 August 2025
Notification of Acceptance: 20 August 2025

All accepted chapters will undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process prior to publication.
