By means of present petition, petitioners seek to
quash the charge-sheet no.121 of 2021 dated 28.05.2021
(Annexure No.2) and the summoning/cognizance order dated
24.02.2022 (Annexure No.3) as well as the entire proceedings of
Criminal Case No.2328 of 2021 “State vs. Bhupendra Singh and
another” for the offences punishable under Sections 498A, 323,
504 and 506 of IPC and Section 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act,
pending in the court of Judicial Magistrate, Kashipur, District
Udham Singh Nagar, on the basis of compromise arrived at
between the parties.
2. In view of the fact that a Compounding Application
was filed by the parties before this Court, this Court, vide order
dated 04.04.2025, had directed the parties to appear before the
Secretary, DLSA, Udham Singh Nagar to get their statements
recorded and to verify the compromise deed.
