This criminal revision petition is preferred impugning the

judgment of the Sessions Judge, Kasargod in Crl.A.No. 261 of

2010.

2. The revision petitioner is the appellant. The first

respondent, Self Growth Nidhi Limited has filed a complaint before

the Judicial First Class Magistrate-I, Hosdurg under Section 190(1)

Cr.P.C. for the offence punishable under Section 138 r/w 142 of

the Negotiable Instruments Act.

3. The case of the 1 st respondent/complainant was that

the complainant is a Nidhi Company functioning with the

permission of the Department of Company Affairs, Government of

India, and Reserve Bank of India, incorporated under the

Companies Act, 1956, having its head office at Bangalore and

branches in Kerala, including Kanhangad.
