2. Rule. The rule is made returnable immediately at the
request and with the consent of the learned counsel for the
parties.
3. Although several reliefs are sought in this petition, Mr.
Anturkar, learned Senior Advocate for the Petitioner, primarily
urged that the award dated 02 January 2025, issued under
Section 19-B(3) of the Maharashtra Highways Act, 1955 (the
“said Act”), was ultra vires, illegal, null and void, and should
be struck down, with directions issued to make a fresh award
in accordance with the law.
