3. Mr. B.S. Bhandari, learned counsel for
respondent Nos.4 to 6.
4. By means of the present writ petition,
petitioners have put to challenge the FIR No.04
of 2021, for the offences punishable under
Sections 323, 504, 324, 147, 452, 376/511 IPC
and under Section 3(1)(x) of the Scheduled
Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of
Atrocities) Act, 1989, registered with Revenue
Police Area Tadikhet, Ranikhet, District Almora.
5. Learned State Counsel made a statement at
Bar on instruction that after investigation,
charge-sheet has been submitted against the
petitioners on 13.01.2022, therefore, nothing
remains to be decided in this writ petition and it
has become infructuous.
6. In view of the statement made by learned
State Counsel, the present criminal writ petition
is dismissed as infructuous. However, it is open
to petitioners to challenge the charge-sheet in
appropriate proceedings, before the appropriate
forum.
7. Pending application(s), if any, stands
disposed of.
