1. The present appeal at the behest of the de facto
complainant/victim under Section 372 of the Code of Criminal
Procedure, was taken up for admission hearing.
2. The appellant was married to respondent No. 2 on April 21,
2015. In such marriage, the father of the appellant gave ₹6,00,000/-
cash, 8/9 Bharis of gold ornaments, furniture and other nuptial gifts
on the demand of the private respondents. After such marriage the
appellant started residing in matrimonial house of respondent No. 2. It
was alleged that after sometime of marriage, the husband and other
in-laws of the appellant i.e. the private respondents started inflicting
physical and mental torture upon the appellant on the ground that
she gave birth to a cardiac ill baby as also on demand of further
money from the father of the appellant.
