04/24.04.2025 This is an application filed by the petitioner praying for grant of

anticipatory bail in terms of Sections 482 and 484 of the Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha
Sanhita (BNSS), 2023, as the petitioner has been allegedly implicated in a criminal
case registered under Section(s) 341, 323, 307, 498A and 504/34 IPC and Sections 3/
4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act in connection with Lalmatia P.S. Case No. 25/2024,
pending in the court of learned J.M. 1st Class, Godda.

Heard learned counsel for the parties at length and had gone through the
documents, annexed along with this application.

Opportunity was given to the State and the informant to oppose the bail,
which they availed and opposed.

The petitioner is the husband and there is allegation of torture and
demand of dowry against the petitioner and his entire family members.

It has been submitted that the chargesheet has already been submitted
against the petitioner and others under Sections 341, 323, 498A, 504/34 IPC and
Section 3/ 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Submission of the chargesheet against this petitioner clearly suggests that
the petitioner co-operated during the investigation and there was no necessity to arrest
him.

Considering the aforesaid facts, the petitioner is directed to appear before
the Court concerned and furnish his bail bond(s).

Accordingly, this application stands disposed of.
